This is a re-post of a bit from 2007. I’m sorry to say, the hunt is still going on: I can’t imagine anything good coming of clubbing baby seals over the head. It’s not nice to slaughter Mother Nature, eh?

Please help stop the seal hunt. There’s a simple online form at this site, which you can use to e-sign a petition. The thing that mystifies me is…who wears this stuff? Has anyone, anywhere, actually seen someone (other than a Disney villain) wearing a coat made from the hides of baby seals? I don’t get it. But then again, unprovoked brutality always mystifies me.

Stop buying anything to do with seal, its inhumane and cruel to allow hunting and killing of these innocent animals.

Nobody ever says – end the slaughter of lambs….are they not as cute? Unless you’re a vegetarian – your disgust in the seal hunt is hypocritical.

What a ridiculous comment Jennifer Kennedy! You may feel like you are taking the strong moral line, but to criticise anybody who wants to see an end to the cruel clubbing of seals, no matter where their moral line is drawn, is counter-productive, irresponsible, and plain stupid. Do you suggest these people shut up and let this thing continue just because they have recently consumed a burger? I suggest you pull your head in and support the cause.
