They’re a matched pair.

FINALLY. Shorts weather has arrived. Sonny & I are so relieved. Off for a hike…

He was rescued in Salinas, home of Steinbeck, author of OF MICE AND MEN starring LENNY. 4 months old, 4 pounds of fun! Barkis & I are thrilled!

Whenever the Coast Guard is on the job, it usually mean they’re about to move a sub or carrier or something. I’ll keep an eye out. It’s not like I ever get tired of this view or anything.

I have tons of it in my garden. Here’s the recipe: 5-6 cups chopped rhubarb, 1-1/4 cup sugar, a squeeze of lemon, 1/4 cup instant tapioca, a shake of cinnamon. Put in an unbaked pie shell, bakeat 450 for 15 minutes, then lower the temperature to 350 and bake for another 40 minutes or so. Pie for dummies.
