Susan we used to play a variation on this in the car on long trips when I was a kid. Categories.
We’d agree on categories — Country, River, City, Girls name, Boy’s name, Animal, Food.
Then we’d take it in turns to start saying the alphabet silently, and someone would say “stop” and whatever letter they stopped on was the one. We all wrote down something starting with that letter in each category. The first one to finish yelled stop, and then we’d score.
If you were the only one with an answer in that category, you got 20 points for it. If someone else had an answer but different, you got 10 each. If it was the same answer as someone else 5 points each.
