So many smart, creative guesses! It’s a missile cover.

I’m more intrigued than ever now. What’s the back-story on how you ended up with a missle cover? Did it wash up on your beach?

Hey Susan!
I have absolutely no idea what that thing is. I just wanted to send a great big old Texas howdy your way. Wish you were here, but it looks so gorgeous and green where you are. I’m sure this is going to be another scorching summer so I’ll be thinking of you when we’re roasting. Maybe you can come visit and present a program for one of the RWA groups.
Wishing you continued success.
*hugs*

Then perhaps since it isn’t what you noted….perhaps the cover to the “works” for the pool. Or if you have a well, the old well cover. Hmmm!

Not a doghouse or a solar dome. Or composter, although that’s a creative idea. The opening at the bottom rim was created by someone TRYING to make a doghouse or playhouse out of it.

My guess is that it’s a solar dome?
