I used to speak such fluent French! I used to think and dream in French. But–dommage–those brain cells are rusty with disuse.
Which is why I love seeing notes like this in my in-box! “Quel est votre prochain livre traduit en francais? Merci de votre réponse.”

While I speak no French aside from croissant, those covers are very striking ! Knowing what they contain, no matter in English or another language, I know is wonderful and inspiring – touching and most of all real.

I totally agree with Pam on the speaking of French. I can manage English on a good day. Also, that cover is beautiful!

French is our second language spoken here in Canada, but when I was in school it was not mandetory that we take it until grade 8 and then I flunked.
The book cover and title is tre-manufique’.
