Today I am grateful for lazy, bright-sunshiny (?) Saturday mornings. I’m especially grateful for my sweet calico fur purrson who loves me as much as I love her. I’m also grateful that I can take my time with preparations for dinner this evening. It will be an easy meal that we enjoy, and I’ll appreciate it even more because I won’t be rushed!

–I am grateful for my new printer which does everything but tap dance. It’s so huge it needs its own zip code. It has so many useful features, like being able to tell precisely how much black or colored ink is left in the cartridge.

–I’m grateful for friends who are old like me and therefore understand perfectly why I’m forgetful and do things like drive down the wrong side of the road because I think it’s a turn lane.

–I’m grateful for the healing grace of forgiveness.

I am grateful for my rather challenged coonhound, Bubba. Now if he’d stop baying at the deer in the yard…

I am grateful for chicken nuggets, which is about all Miss 14 cares to eat this week.

I am grateful that my not-husband is learning to fly. He has wanted to his whole life, and he SO deserves to do something just for him.

I’m reminding myself to be grateful for my nephew who is sweet and loving. He especially loves his little cousin. I love that he shares. I just wish maybe he didn’t share his cold/flu with me.
