Phyllis A. Whitney will be 104 on September 9. Her writing career has spanned more than eighty years. She was (still is) a favorite of my mom. I often come across her books next to mine on the shelf in bookstores. Here is the URL for the virtual birthday card at her website. http://www.phyllisawhitney.com/birthdaybook.htm

My all time favorite? Touch Not The Cat.
It was an amazing book — I re read it at least once a year.

I have never read any of her books and now that I have reviewed them on her book list; I’ll have to check them out “in between reads”. The author that got me hooked on the romance genre when I was a teenager is Victoria Holt. I absolutely loved her books!
